- I got my C64 in 1984 and the motherboard is sitting right here with
- cmponents missing. I use it for scrap parts. I just goat a C64 a little
- while ago. I'm looking forward to getting back into it. I have 50 games
- for it that are just gathering dust. I can't wait to go through the
- enitre Bard's Tale Trilogy again.
- I don't think I'd call this a cult. I see people driving Model T's and
- they don't seem like the "cult type".

- : It depends on your perspective I 'spose. I've never been away from my

- 1985! How do you go to the bathroom? That must be a record or
- something! (sorry I couldn't resist). :)

- I agree. I regularly use a Power Mac and my Amiga. I have yet to see
- any computer users who get fleeced more than IBM Pc users. They come out
- with a new OS every year and it usually costs 100-150 bux and more if you
- need extra ram. I have a suspicion that Bill Gates is paying software
- companies to make Win95 only programs forcing everyone to upgrade. I do
- wan't to get a clone but I just know I'll hate the dang upgrades. BTW Mac
- just updated it's OS and they charged only $5 for a CD or free if I download.
